Nursery Admissions

Wallington Primary Academy intend to admit up to 52 children aged 3-4 (depending on need and applications received) in three different sessions.

The 15-hour provision will be offered as either 3 hours per day, 5 days per week in morning or afternoon sessions or blocked into full days. The school aims to accommodate parents' and carers' preferred grouping of hours for 15-hour nursery places, however, this is dependent on staffing ratios.

The 30-hour provision will be offered as 6 hours per day, 5 days per week with the option to pay for an additional 45 minutes to coincide with the end of the school day.

In-Year Applications for 2024-2025

Please click here to make an in-year application for this academic year (2024-2025). This is for children who will turn 3 by 31st March 2025 (born between 01.09.2020 and 31.03.2022). Once your application is received your child will be added to the waiting list and you will be contacted if/when a place becomes available. Please note that applications are ranked in accordance with our admissions criteria below.

Applications for September 2025

Please click here to make an application for entry in September 2025 (children born between 01/09/2021 and 31/08/2022). The closing date for applications is 15th January 2025.

You may still apply after this date however, your application will be treated as a 'late application' and will be ranked in accordance with the admissions arrangements below; we do not operate a first come, first served system.

We will notify you within a week of the closing date for applications to confirm receipt. Outcome letters for children who are eligible to attend nursery in September 2025 will be sent by e-mail on Friday 25th April 2025. Children who are not offered a place due to over-subscription criteria will also be notified on this date and will be placed on the waiting list in accordance with admission arrangments.

Children who are not eligible to start until either January or April 2026 will be able to apply for an in-year place from September 2025.

Please note that attendance in the nursery at Stanley park Infants' School does not give priority for a place in Reception. Parents/Carers must re-apply and follow the process for entry to Reception.
